At Refrigerated Couriers, we are a specialised time critical logistics company delivering for some of New Zealand's biggest producers.
Due to unprecedented growth, we have an exciting full time Driving opportunity available.
We're seeking an experienced professional Driver with area knowledge of Hamilton & The Greater Waikato area. We would prefer the successful applicant to have extensive area knowledge and some Courier Logistics experience, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
You MUST have a full clean, class 1 drivers licence and be able to drive a mix of vehicles, cars through to vans, including manual transmission vehicles.
To be successful in this role, you will:- Have good communication skills, and the ability to communicate clearly
- Have an understanding of traffic patterns
- Be punctual
- Have interpersonal skills
- Be reliable and trustworthy, with a clean police history and clean full license
- Have good sense of direction
- Have customer service skills
- Be able to meet deadlines & able to prioritise your deliveries
- Be 'fit for work' as this is a demanding position. e.g. lifting boxes
- Be able to pass a drug & fitness to work test
- Have an understanding of and be Health & Safety conscious
