We have a key role available for a confident Finance Officer to join our small finance team.
You'll be responsible for ensuring our customer accounts are up to date at all times through the prompt and accurate recording of direct debit and credit card receipts, adhoc sales invoicing and credit notes. The role is also responsible for policy claim payments and refunds, processing staff expenses, daily bank recs and other adhoc requests from management. This is a high volume transaction processing role, where excellent attention to detail is required.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Experience in a previous ledger clerk role, dealing with high volume transaction processing
A Graduate Diploma in Accounting or higher
2+ years experience in the insurance industry
Excellent attention to detail
Microsoft Excel and reconciliation experience
Strong experience with Xero
A commitment to excellent customer service
Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
A firm understanding of Accounting principles
Even though this role does not have any direct staff reports, you'll be the first call in providing daily support to the junior account clerk/s.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday.
