Sealegs International Limited is the world's leading manufacturer of amphibious boats. Proudly designed and made in New Zealand, they are a unique entrepreneurial company looking for great people to help build their global brand.
With hands-on control of the supply of stock within the organisation, and taking ownership of the warehouse and logistics, you will:- Forecast and order stock from internal, local and international vendors
- Be responsible for the small warehouse team, including their daily activity and skills development
- Manage suppliers and 3rd party contractors, including delivery, pricing and quality control
- Proactively manage stock holding to minimise invested capital and storage space, while ensuring seamless parts flow through the business
- Integrate new products, including BOM maintenance, processing, parts and cost allocation
Applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in procurement and warehouse operations, ideally in a senior role.
You will need to demonstrate strong leadership capability, the ability to take ownership of issues, experience with mid-range ERP systems, and great negotiation skills.
A tertiary qualification in supply chain management, procurement or similar is preferred but not essential.
