    The Opportunity

    What we're seeking is an experienced Technical Lead and an energetic individual who will provide professional Technical and Quality leadership at one of our NZ fibre manufacturing facilities.

    The role will be responsible for the delivery of the sites Technical and Quality program and performance in partnership with the Operational and Sales teams. This role is committed to be an advocate for our customers and deliver product and outcomes which align to their needs.

    You can expect to:
    • Lead site certification and compliance (ISO, HACCP, Transitional Facility, GS1)
    • Support Quality assurance: Production to Specification and the associated testing program
    • Support continuous improvement: Driving down Non-conformity
    • Facilitate Technical and Quality training and development through coaching and formal training
    • Support the site Quality Program and compliance to group procedures
    • Provide performance analysis and reporting
    • Lead delegated Visy Fibre wide initiatives
    Skills & Experience

    Your toolbox of skills and experiences will be broad. You will have:
    • Quality Assurance experience preferably in the food industry
    • Compliance experience to external standards such as ISO, BRC, Customer standards
    • Strong process capability.
    • Change control and experience supporting the execution of new products
    • Risk Management experience such as HACCP
    • Strong investigation skills with demonstrated continuous improvement
    • Customer centric disposition with excellent reporting and communication
    • Strong computer skills and capability. (Microsoft suite, bespoke operational software)
