As part of this growth we are looking to appoint an additional Customisation Engineer to our team in Albany.
This is a full-time permanent position within a progressive company. This role requires someone with boating/marine knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assembly, with a mechanical aptitude and good at practical problem solving. You will be creating, manufacturing and installing customised solutions to meet specific customer needs. Other responsibilities will include assembling Sealegs craft and assisting assembly staff when needed.
You shall have a minimum of four years' secondary education with good grades in Maths and English. Experience in a manufacturing, marine or engineering environment, and/or tertiary education in either the automotive or marine industry is required. Boating experience is a must.
Whilst specific skills are important so is attitude and this role would suit a positive, enthusiastic, hardworking individual that is interested in long term progression. There are significant opportunities for internal promotion and to upskill within the company into different departments such as fabrication, servicing or development.
