The Opportunity
What we're seeking is an experienced Despatch Supervisor and an energetic individual who will provide professional Despatch leadership at our Hamilton manufacturing facility.
The role will be responsible for the management of our Despatch team and establishing and maintaining robust systems and procedures to drive efficiency in key areas of freight utilisation and DIFOT. This role will be committed to the health & safety of all Despatch employees.
You can expect to:
Supervise and lead the despatch team to meet agreed DIFOT, service and quality standards and being fully conversant in all despatch aspects of the site to provide the required support to the team.
Establish & maintain robust systems and procedures to drive efficiency in key areas of freight utilization, compliance, pallet control, DIFOT and Quality.
Take responsibility for the Health, Safety and wellbeing of all despatch employees. The role is responsible for developing efficient work methods, and collaborating with employees to increase productivity while maintaining strong safety record.
Train & develop the Despatch team
Manage pallet control for the site
Participate in monthly stocktakes and preparation of the process

Prior fibre packaging industry knowledge (desirable)
