We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Assets and Facilities Team in Mount Maunganui, where you will find a great lifestyle right on your doorstep. In this role you will ensure all our plant, machinery, vehicles, tools and equipment are compliant and operating to the standards required for safe and efficient use. The successful candidate will plan and implement preventative maintenance and carry out repairs of equipment, purchasing necessary spares and materials and engaging external resources as required. They must have good computer skills and be willing to work with technology, in order to update maintenance plans and schedules, documentation and certification. They will need to be self organised and self motivated with a positive approach to problem solving. Do you have broad experience doing repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment with good trouble shooting and fault finding skills? Do you have a broad knowledge of engineering tools and equipment and a good knowledge of current trade practices? Do you understand the value of systems and standard procedures? Are you physically fit and self motivated with a great attitude?
