The Opportunity
What we're seeking is an experienced Maintenance Manager and an energetic individual who will provide professional Maintenance leadership at our East Tamaki manufacturing facility.
The main responsibilities of the role are to lead the site maintenance and engineering team, ensuring all equipment and site services are maintained and operating to the required performance.
The role requires a hands on practical approach to maintenance with a growth mindset.
You can expect to:
Ensure any works carried out under the direction of the role are in accordance with all HSE expectations.
Ensure all Preventative Maintenance plans are effective, relevant and up to date. Champion reliability improvements ensuring improved performance and sustainability. Ensure preventative maintenance regimes minimise cost and improve productivity and quality output of all convert equipment.
Lead the department, advise and assist with site training for maintenance personnel.
Ensure all minor projects are managed safely and efficiently and are completed on time and on budget. Assist in the design, budgets & timelines for replacement equipment and new capital. These capital projects range from simple asset replacement to new technology.
Performance measurement (KPI's) and recording of activity - Ensure KPI's for all aspects of maintenance are monitored and achieved.
Skills & Experience
Your toolbox of skills and experiences will be broad. You will have/be:
Tertiary or Trade qualifications
Leadership and Management experience with a strong background in Engineering
Analytical, Process and Continuous Improvement focused (Lean) skills
Experience working in a high volume / fast paced customer service environment
HSE regulations knowledge
Manufacturing/Production industry experience
Maintenance knowledge
Computer systems / Microsoft suite skills
Results orientated
Organisational and planning skills
