We have a Full Time position available for a Welder / Fabricator to join our busy Otahuhu factory team right now!
We want a competent person with specialised experience in light gauge stainless steel fabrication. You must be a competent Light Gauge TIG Welder to manufacture our high quality stainless steel kitchen bench tops etc and have experience welding stainless steel sink bowls.
Polishing experience, the ability to independently work off drawings and ability to site weld would be an advantage in this role, but these are not essential.
The key requirements our successful applicant will have include:- Reliability & self motivation
- Ability to read work plans
- Happy working in a team environment
- Experienced welding square and round tube
- Tools provided by Classic Stainless Steel
You'll primarily work to a schedule and production target, as well as assisting in general duties. Full NZ drivers licence an advantage.
Our work is varied and rewarding, and hasn't shown any sign of slowing down so there is more than enough to do. We offer favourable hourly rates with overtime available!
