    We're looking for a Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Manager to join the Barfoot and Thompson Talent Development and Training team in Shortland Street in this newly created role.

    As an integral part of the Talent Development and Training team, this individual will ensure the provision of professional, consistent and high-quality talent acquisition and employer branding services across Barfoot & Thompson Support Centre and Branches. Supporting with the achievement of business strategic talent priorities, this Manager will act as the 'centre of excellence' and 'go to' person for all things recruitment and employer branding.

    To be successful in this role you will need to have strong recruitment experience in a competitive and complex environment, along with excellent understanding of recruitment processes and the employer branding/employee experience sphere.

    Other skills and attributes include:
    • Ability to design, deliver and embed innovative talent acquisition strategy
    • Strong communication, consultation and coaching skills and ability to quickly grasp business needs
    • Good track record of leveraging a variety of sourcing channels and strategies
    • Flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and responsive to organisational contingencies
    • Experience in the use of psychometric and competency assessment methodologies
    • The ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to wider business
    • Confidence and initiative to build relationships
    • Employer branding experience
    • Diversity and inclusion champion with proven results in this area
    • Experience in workforce planning and supporting internal programmes/career mobility
    • Proficiency in using applicant tracking system (ATS) and HR databases
    • Hands on experience with various selection processes (zoom, phone interviewing, reference checking)
    • Ability to conduct different types of interviews
