About the opportunity
Robertson Engineering has an exciting opportunity available within its growing business. We are looking for a self-motivated, efficient, diligent and experienced Heavy Transport Engineer. You will be a team player, have the ability to think on your feet and have a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on a variety of heavy machinery. We require someone who has obtained (or can obtain) and holds their trade certification and the relevant welding qualifications. The successful applicant will also have basic computer literacy, with the ability to input and record relevant data.
This varied role includes the following:- Engineering - Wheel base adjustments, body fitments, axle and suspension changes.
- Entering and recording information into the database.
- Calculations utilising the information provided.
- Working with other engineers and mechanics.
- Working within reasonable time frames.
- Compliancy with Health and Safety Operating Procedures
