    • Established in 1992, Albany Timber ITM is one of the largest members of the ITM group.

    We are currently looking for a Dry Shed Assistant / Yard Hand to join our team starting ASAP.

    As a member of our yard team at our Albany site you will work within a safety driven, customer focused and supportive team environment. Our business is led by the values of honest, open and team focussed so we are searching for an individual who encompasses these traits and will bring them into their new role within the yard team. We are looking for someone with a special skill and this role requires previous experience in loading/unloading timber delivery trucks or similar.

    Your duties will include but are not limited to:
    • Pick and pack customer orders from picking slips to ensure that they are prepared accurately and ready for the agreed delivery/pick up time
    • Excellent forklift skills is preferred but not essential and an ability to prioritise to a schedule and meet deadlines
    • Responsible for Unloading and loading of trucks with sometimes multiple timber packets and hardware
    We are looking for an individual who possesses the below skills:
    • Knowledge of Timber and Hardware is advantageous
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service
    • A capability to undertake physical tasks safely
    • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
    • Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member
