McLeod Hiabs has been servicing the greater Hamilton area for 5 years now and we have worked damn hard to gain our outstanding reputation. We are now super excited to finally start establishing and growing a Cranes division, so much so that we need to bring on someone to oversee our Hamilton Crane Operations.
This role leads the cranes team, directing all operational aspects of the branch. Including Sales, dispatch, operations, administration and fleet management. This role works closely with the Directors and the Hamilton based hiabs manager to create and execute an effective business plan which will grow and shape the cranes division. The role is integral to the smooth running of the branch as well as the collaboration between Taupo and Tauranga branches.
The core responsibilities of this role are:
Leadership - People and Process
Sales - New business development
Account Management - Existing relationships
Health and Safety Leadership
You will describe yourself as having exceptional people management skills and be able to provide evidence of bringing people together to achieve business and individual's goals. Equally you will enjoy sales and have experience in working with customers at both a strategic and operational level. Ideally you come from a cranes industry, although we will also consider a construction or logistics background. Added to this is a well organised working style, accurate administration skills and a high level of computer literacy.
