Due to ever increasing market share growth, Van Dyks Flooring Xtra is seeking a highly effective Showroom Consultant to join our great Rotorua team. This position will seriously appeal if you have a flair for interior colours & fashions.
Our Rotorua showroom is open seven days - which often means Saturday & Sunday are the two best days for our clients. This role includes Saturdays & Sundays on a rostered basis and any other days that suit you. This is a permanent part-time or permanent full-time position. Remuneration will be relative to experience & productivity - we want you to be very successful!
Key responsibilities include assisting with:
the selection of flooring
project pricing
project management
post-installation follow-up & customer care
showroom presentation
Key personal attributes will include:
Vibrant personality
Good head for numbers
Interest in colour & interior design
Computer literate
Calm under pressure and able to thrive in an environment where you may be multi-tasking on different projects at any one time
Able to demonstrate a positive work history of customer service and proactive relationships with colleagues, suppliers, contractors and, most importantly, customers
