Karbase Services Ltd seek trade experienced Panel Beaters and Painters to join their team.
Panel Beater
Required for general panel beating duties. Painting and mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage. Overtime and Saturday work is also available. Successful applicant can be based at any of our 3 workshops in Otahuhu and Penrose. Minimum 3 years panel beating experience required.
Automobile Painter
The automotive spray painter receives work assignments from a shop foreman and must independently determine work methods in accordance with standard automotive painting practices. Working knowledge of the standard methods and practices of automotive painting and of the materials and methods used in painting or refinishing is required. Minimum 3 years experience as a Painter required.
Duties will include; preparing paint to desired colour and consistency prepares spraying equipment such as cleaning or adjusting spray gun cleans vehicle to be painted masks glass and other appropriate areas prior to application of paint with a spray gun or brush paints vehicles as required maintains stock levels of all items required for the completion of duties manages OH&S and environmental hazards in the paint bay and workplace.
