APS Group is a leading supplier of used tractors, used tractor parts and new tractor parts to tractor dealers and tractor owners throughout New Zealand. We also have a range of telescopic telehandlers and height access machines within the construction industry that require regular servicing and maintenance.
We are currently looking for a switched on and driven Diesel Mechanic to support our continued growth.
The role is very diverse and will require:
Experience in a similar role, working with tractors and a diverse range of machinery.
The ability to work on site or off site on a diverse range of machinery
Strong problem solving abilities
A high awareness of Health & Safety principles
Strong time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Forklift licence and Class 1 vehicle licence
A willingness to help out with other non-mechanical tasks in the workshop/yard such as: - Tyre stripping & fitting with a specialised tyre machine - Access equipment maintenance. - Hydraulic hose repairs and maintenance - General yard/workshop maintenance and organisation
