We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated retail Sales Consultant to fill a floating position across three stores in Tauranga: Bayfair, Bethlehem, and Tauranga Central.
This full-time position is designed to support the team. If you like a bit of variety, like working with people, and getting into a supportive team network, then this is a position to consider.

In this role, you will:- Assist customers with making their home spaces more comfortable and attractive with Furniture Zone furniture
- Support store managers on their days off providing seamless customer service
- Help store managers attain sales and gross profit targets
- Assist with display setup of merchandise and promotional material
- Assist with customer pickups and product intake from warehouse
- Be health & safety conscious as heavy lifting and furniture assembly will be required
- Work full time on a roster including weekends and public holidays as required by the Business to support the local stores
The skills and experience you'll need:- 2+ years' experience in retail (furniture or related industry helpful, but not essential)
- Proven sales ability achieving performance-based KPIs
- Interest in interior design and layout
- Ability to find creative solutions
- Clear understanding of the Consumer Guarantees Act and other consumer-related legislation
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good numeracy skills and ability to work out calculations
- Customer centric
- To be fit and able to lift/move furniture
- Be reliable, ambitious, flexible, and approachable
- Team player, and can work autonomously
- Your own reliable vehicle
